Summary/Abstract: The article presents some of the psycho-social outcomes of communication techniques development. There is an analysis of the influence of the Internet on writing function and text understanding, connections between aggression watched on the Internet and provoked in computer games on the one hand and direct inter-human aggression. The last chapter describes and analyzes the phenomenon called virtual (or cybernetic) ‘self’.
