Corporations in sport – present and perspectives in the enactment of new sport´s act

Summary/Abstract: The author in his article considers the question which relations can be taken for relations creating the newly formed „sports law“, which from the point of view of systematics of its relations binds mainly to commercial law and civil law. Besides the above given issue the author focuses more in detail on facts, sources of law and relations, which under conditions of the Slovak Republic should be a model, a source of prepared amendment of act on sport. Which of these should the legislator be inspired by, if he wants as a result of legislation process to produce a modern, to the practise responding and the practise considering act on sport? The article calls attention to existing documents of international, national and private law character adjusting, directing and determining the areas of sports branch. The author also deals with the topical issues of business companies in sport under prism of amendment of act on sport, considers the possible development of legal entities in this area and submits specific proposals of solutions, which in his opinion should become part of the new regularization.
