Summary/Abstract: The new Rules of Preparing Documents (Dokumentų rengimo taisyklės) introduce changes in the use of the verbs rašyti, nurodyti and išdėstyti. However, not all changes are equally acceptable. The most deviant is the meaning of išdėstyti. The verb has a meaning of repeatedly attaching the value to several objects (rekvizitai išdėstomi); however, it cannot refer to locating a single indivisible object (e.g. *herbas išdėstomas).
