Summary/Abstract: The study presents a first comprehensive overview of the manuscript tradition of Constantine of Preslav's Gospel Homiliary. In addition to the four manuscripts that were the object of previous research (= UE I), it surveys the contents, structure and specimens of the text of 59 manuscripts (nine of South Slavic provenance) and provides bibliographic references to the extant early printed editions. The manuscripts surveyed differ from those studied so far in that they attest a collection not of 51 but of 52 homilies (= UE II), as well as a title to the collection as a whole, and that their text in many places exhibits significant variants (not affecting the Gospel quotations). Within the corpus, textual differences are observed that set two manuscripts (GIM Sin.75 and RGB TSL. 100) apart from the others as yet a third version of the text. The study formulates the basic questions as to the textual tradition of Constantine of Preslav's work and its manuscript transmission and offers suggestions for further research.
