Summary/Abstract: Public policy is a phenomenon that is often cursed as an unwanted, complex and confusing category, the knowledge of which does not seem to belong to the lawyer's professional thinking. The second situation is its overuse, which is perceived by the fact that public order is perceived as a means of getting rid of uncomfortable foreign law in a situation where we are faced with the need to deal with the content of foreign law in relation to the international element. Both of these extremes are certainly not desirable, because the first is at least short-sighted alibism, the second is perhaps even more dangerous nonsense, which often indicates unprofessionalism.
