Summary/Abstract: Doc. Dr. Sc. Diana Sorić was born in 1973 in Zadar and graduated in Classical Stu¬dies and Italian language and literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zadar. In 2013 she advocated a dissertation entitled Fami¬ly Correspondence of Antun Vrančić: Critical Edition of Manuscripts and Stylistic and Lan¬guage Features. She is currently the head of the Department of Classical Philology at the University of Zadar. Since, October of 2015, she has been working as an associate profes¬sor. At the Department of Classical Philolo¬gy, she has been teaching Latin, historiogra¬phy, Croatian Latin, and epistolography of Croatian Latinists. She leads lectures and seminars from the above mentioned areas of teaching. As part of her scientific research, she is dedicated to the personality and literary opus of AntunVrančić, (1504 – 1573), Croatian cleric, humanist writer, statesman and diplomat. Diana Sorić is the author and co-author of several scientific studies: Literary Aspects of Antun Vrančić’s Travelogue Iter Buda Hadrianopolim, “Živa An¬tika” 68, 2018, Skopje, 153 – 168 (in co-authorship with Teuta Serreqi Jurić); Privatna pisma Antuna Vrančića i Andrije Rapicija, “Hum” 17 – 18, 2018, Mostar : Filozofski fakultet Sveučilišta u Mostaru, 280 – 308 (in co-authorship with Ines Komljenović); Antun Vrančić’s „Occasional“ Letters in the Light of the Humanistic Treatises of Letter-Writing, Systasis 30, 2017; E – списане на Здружението иа класични филолози, „Антика“, 1 – 8, Skopje : Antika. She has also attended several scientific conferences at home and abroad.
