Summary/Abstract: This article presents the project, named Steps from and through books, which had a great impact on children. It was an educational project, focused on books, which aimed to communicate the concern for student relations with society, with parents. Each group of children is a community that appreciates friendship, kindness, cooperation, competition, problem solvers, controversies and explore new ideas. Extracurricular activities makes pupils more open to new ideas and diversity. Now they have the maximum capacity of attractiveness and commitment in activities that stimulate their creativity.
