Summary/Abstract: The concepts of “collegiality” and “synodality” refer to the Church’s community, her structures and lives of human persons. Clearly, the thought of the Church as a communion of persons appears here. The constitutive elements of the structure of the Church understood as the sacrament of God’s Communion relate it to the Holy Trinity, and from the interplay of references of individual Persons of God and their theological highest rank, arises the systematic unity and the whole of the Church realizing itself in theological and empirical terms. An attempt to analyse the reality described by these two concepts in a personalistic and communional perspective arises from these premises.
