The risk of inter-organizational cooperation – probabilistic approach

Summary/Abstract: In the era of dynamically changing environment, enterprises should pay particular attention to effective risk management. Therefore, the identification of sources of potential threats in various aspects of operations, including in the process of inter-organizational cooperation, becomes crucial. Empirical studies conducted on a sample of 244 enterprises, using the method of in-depth questionnaire survey, direct interview and participant observation, allowed to conclude existence of certain specific risk areas appearing in particular phases of cooperation.
