Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is the work of Claudio Margis Danube, which is a report of wandering from the source to the river mouth. This interpretation advocates for the need to include genetic reflection in the framework of geopoetics and thus confirm the thesis of Franco Moretti about the inseparable connection between geography and the morphology of a literary work. In the context of the spatial theory of literary genres, I suggest reading the work of Magris as a geographical novel.
