Summary/Abstract: This paper tries to analyze multiple links between the economic globalization and international migration of labour, emphasizing the role of so-called “global migration governance”, if that notion could be applied in practice, the circumstances which determine the role of migration in economic development and how migration, as a global phenomenon, could be useful to the poor countries
