Summary/Abstract: The Art and Ethnography Museum „Dimitrie Ghika” from Comănești, Bacau County, Romania, played host to the sixth edition of the National Symposium „Dimitrie Ghika – Comănești. In memoriam” on the 6th of August 2016. The theme of this edition was „The evolution of the science and technologies in the twentieth century”. The event was organized by Romanian Committee for History and Philosophy of Science and Techniques from Romanian Academy, „Dimitrie Ghika‑Comănești” Cultural and Scientific Association (NGO), „Dimitrie Ghika” High School, „Europe Direct Comăneşti” and Comăneşti Town Hall, which was the major sponsor of the event. For this event was sent approximate 70 papers and 20 out of this were students’ works. The event gather not only teaches and the intelligentsia around the area, also students and citizens of the town who love arts and culture. The edition of 2016 was honored by the attendance of three academicians: Constantin Toma from Iasi, Romania, Alexandru Ciubotaru and Ion Toderas from Republic of Moldova.
