Summary/Abstract: The possibilities of using an integrative approach in the process of forming professional knowledge among graduates of higher educational institutions were studied in the article. The categories "information" and "knowledge" have been considered. It is suggested to consider information as a "raw material" for the formation of knowledge, and knowledge as a "quality" that is inherent in a particular individual. It is stated that knowledge is constantly transformed into information and vice versa. It has been determined that the application of an integrative approach has a positive impact on the formation of professional knowledge among university graduates.
