Summary/Abstract: Paper analyzes the Norwegian education system whose structure is well tailored to the needs of society. Thus, enrollment in education is mandatory until the 10th grade and free, while the authorities provide consistent financial support for other levels. The Norwegian education system promotes equality and lifelong learning through a decentralized system that gives more flexibility to the authorities in identifying and addressing education needs. In recent years, numerous reforms have been made to improve student performance and meet the new challenges posed by evolving technology and markets. Norway is one of the countries that has increased education expenditure, supporting the continuous development of students in an adequate school environment through educational policies. Thus, nine out of ten students say they are happy at school. Given this characteristic, the approach presented in this paper is useful to analyze how this perception was arrived at and what can be learned.
