Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the reflections contained in this article is the standpoint of the Polish community of Kyiv and its elite in particular, regardless of political sympathies, regarding the Provisional Government during the period of Prince Georgy Lvov’s tenure as Prime Minister. The author presents the attitude of the Polish community towards the activity of the new government and its Kyivan branches, not only in relation to the Polish issue, but also in terms of the reports and comments published in the newspaper “Dziennik Kijowski”. The study does not constitute an exhaustive analysis of the issue contained in the title, but merely an attempt at detailing some of its aspects based on selected source material and existing research findings.
