Summary/Abstract: This year marks three decades since there birth of the field of social work in 1990. With the help of professionals from the "old Romanian school" and with experts from abroad, public institutions, NGOs, legislation and professional education have been reborn. In conclusion, issue 1/2020 of the Social Work Review aims to bring in front of the Romanian and international community of social workers, a collection of articles meant to mainly mark the evolution of the 30 years since the rebirth of social work in Romania.
