Summary/Abstract: The author discusses the importance of government programmes that intervene in the labour market to help the unemployed find a job. The main focus is placed on training schemes that help the unemployed improve their skills and increase their employability. The article is based on the expert opinion produced for the Sejm’s Economic Committee.
