Summary/Abstract: The land as a part of the environment is in a special position. It is a part of the environment and also it is a productive resource. This determines the legislation relating to the land. The article deals with the current legislation regarding land as well as with the issue of the constitutional protection of land, for example the rules of acquisition of agricultural land in constitution.
