Summary/Abstract: The nobility from the Przemyśl region strongly developed in the second half of the 14th century and at the beginning of the 15th century from various social, ethnic and religious groups. These were the descendants of Galician boyars and princely court servants, the inhabitants of Poland, Silesia, Hungary, immigrants – Vlachs. In the period of granting the Polish law (1433-1434), in the Przemyśl region there was about one thousand five hundred ennobled lines. Between the 15th and 16th centuries, the hereditary lines of nobility were constantly changing. This was due to, among others, emigration. Among the Catholic nobility the intensity of dying out of old lines and coming into existence of new ones was especially great. In turn, the Orthodox nobility in the 16th century was stable. Their number was increasing slightly, even at the cost of Vlach families.
