Cloud Computing – The core of digital users’ lives

Summary/Abstract: Cloud Computing has become the main trend in the IT world at the moment, besides fields such as IoT (Internet of Things), cybersecurity, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Chatbots/Business Bots. This article aims at providing a glimpse into the emerging world of Cloud Computing and the impact that it has from both a technological and an economic standpoint. Also, the influences of Cloud technologies on current society, and more particularly on our daily lives will be approached. In the last section, we ask questions and we will probably find partial answers, but we will try to foresee the future based on Cloud technologies, relying on the present level of technical development.
