Summary/Abstract: The modern age which we live in, is increasingly dominated by new multimedia technologies. Communication between people is more and more based on their use, the computer and the Internet providing a constant flow of information that reflects the complexity of the world we live in. We cannot conceive today’s life without technology: from radio and television, to increasingly intelligent home appliances, from more and more performing computers, capable of running complex programs to tablets, tables or interactive boards, from classical phones to ultramodern smart phones and smart watches. We can access any information with a single click or with a single touch screen, get in touch via audio and video stream with people miles away or we can watch live events, we can even have smart homes. The daily experience that people face is reflected directly and consistently on our children. That is why the Romanian education system had to move forward in meeting the students’ needs by offering the possibility of using the computer in the school environment as a tool for personal and professional training of the young people. It functions today as a modern, interactive teaching‑learning‑assessment tool within the educational‑educational process, enabling students to access the necessary information, organize and structure them, regardless of the social environment they are part of.
