Summary/Abstract: The concept of state sovereignty is the highest and independent power of state. The state sovereignty is considered as the highest power disponed by some authority or group of persons, who have the right to decide and find the solution of problems in the country. The concept of state sovereignty was created and developed at the end of 16th century by important philosopher Jean Bodin. Jean Bodin created the integrated theory of the sovereignty as the first philosopher ever. The sovereign country cannot tolerate the limitation of the sovereignty by other country, except for the case, if the country bound to fulfil some international obligation following from the contract or if the state must to fulfil some international rule. The state sovereignty creates the base of the state from the time of creation of first states. The contribution aims on the definition of the concept of the state sovereignty, the distribution of sovereignty to interior and exterior, and the brief historical evolution of this concept.
