Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the variety and types of metaphors and give examples of their use in organisational discourse. Metaphoric thinking is a useful approach to make out the organisation and is permanently blended in the management cognition process. Metaphors constitute a part of language and their changing is connected with transformation of the way of thinking and speaking and, thus, organisation actions.
