Migration and development in Sub-Saharan Africa

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present the impact of migration on development in Sub-Saharan. The method used in the text is a statistical analysis of secondary data and data forecast by the UN and its agenda, the World Bank Group, OECD and other entities (Galup, Afrobarometer). The second method used is the analysis of theories and quantitative studies on migration, with particular emphasis on the impact of migration on the development of Sub-Saharan Africa. The key conclusion of the text is that migration can have a positive impact on development, but is not a way to overcome the underdevelop¬ment of Sub-Saharan Africa.
