Summary/Abstract: This paper ties to present the means of defense are not universal but differentiated according to their adaptations for each group of consumers (herbivorous mammals, insects, gastropods, fitofage and micro‑organisms). Categories of means vary. Some are anatomic and mechanical related to certain changes of tissues, other are the products the chemical laboratory of the leaves. The third category is the means of bio‑organic nature, mechanism of antrenand intimate individual or collectivity.
