Summary/Abstract: The historical background of Criminal legislation in Azerbaijan of the Soviet and post-Soviet period, adhering to known continuity in criminal legal protection of traditional public values, provided responsibility for crimes against public moral. However in one of the Criminal Codes in the name of heads of Special part the term "moral" didn't sound. Norms about the called encroachments settled down, generally in sections on crimes against the personality.
