Summary/Abstract: In sea transportation, fuel consumption has a large share among the voyage costs. Companies who wishes to optimize fuel consumption prefer the option of traveling more frequently with smaller ships or less frequently with larger ships. In this study, a modelling of the load carried by a ship traveling between the ports of a peninsula has been made, and new models have been designed by increasing the number of ships.
