Summary/Abstract: This article looks at women`s employment, in the context of implementing gender equality strategies. Integrating woman into the labor market and increase their economic activity will have a positive effect on the economy. On the other side, the professional development of women and the opportunities for reconciling work and family life lead to increased satisfaction and effectiveness. Problems with women`s employment affect the economic, social and cultural life of a society.
