Summary/Abstract: The challenges of the implementation of the provisions of the EU Regional policy in Ukraine are determined in this article. The history of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the framework of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and Association Agenda are investigated here. The main features of the cross-border cooperation and perspectives of further development of regional policy in Ukraine are described in the article.
