Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of a case study conducted in two hospitals from Romanian counties Sibiu and Brasov. Also, the article gives a descriptive analysis of emotional work related to locus of control in the case of 79 Romanian nurses. The data have shown significant differences in the occurrence of emotional work through deep acting of emotions and emotional work through surface acting of emotions, depending on age and seniority in medical organization. Further, the limits and implications of the research were discussed
