Summary/Abstract: In the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia breakup, the political and military structures saw the opportunity for revival of aggressive nationalist policies, at the beginning of its activity they reached for taking control of the media. By means of propaganda writing, journalists who openly stood up for the service of the Great Serbian policy often played the active role in inciting hatred against Bosnian and Croatian people in those parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina which, according to the ideas of the protagonists of this policy, should become part of the mono-ethnic Serbian state. As the media propaganda impact on the general atmosphere in the areas that were considered synonyms of multi-ethnicity was clearly evident in the action of the weekly newspaper "Kozarski vjesnik" in Prijedor. Putting into service of the Great Serbian policy, this journal will become known for the published articles about prominent Prijedor Bosniaks and Croats who were, on false charges detained in one of the three Prijedor concentration camps and then executed. The focus of this paper will be on mentioned articles and the fate of those who were victims of the propaganda of this media.
