Summary/Abstract: The second part of the 19th century was the time when in Bosnia have appeared the first printed copies of newspapers, which opened the door to the press as the oldest form of mass media that historians of media and journalism reasonably called them like that, describing the press as well as mass media like burgeons of early Europeanization as a cultural, political and economic processes of the Bosnian area. Even if the first newspapers emerged at the time of Ottoman rule in Bosnia, they were witnesses of the upheaval that was hinted transition from an oral (oratory) communication practices to writing. In such way in Bosnia, the oral communication era in which the word was the basis of interpersonal interaction amended by text message, written text, written wisdom, as in the rest of Europe and the world.
