Summary/Abstract: This article outlines the process of the destruction of Jewish cemeteries on the territory of today’s Poland during World War II (beginning with 1933 in the case of the parts of the country which were within the German border before the war), including the destruction resulting from military operations or actions of the occupation authorities or the civilian population. It also briefly says what happened with the Jewish cemeteries after the war.
