Summary/Abstract: A prominent place among well educated Bosniaks who created in Arabic language during the Ottoman Empire belonged to Opijač as a philologist, theologian and biographer. Known as the author of the first serious biography of a Bosniak author, he was also recognized as the author of the first independent and very successful grammar in Arabic language, written in the form of compendium which was a strong confirmation of his good using of this language. Numerous solutions and explanations that he offered for enigma of Tekija in Blagaj could be added to the fact that he commented very successfully the famous al-Mitarrizi work from Arabic syntax.
