Summary/Abstract: European Union, a significant economical actor, is building its both political and military role. In this frame, EU has a profound interest in crises and conflicts management in Europe and all over the world. In this purpose, EU is developing the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) with a military component – European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP). ESDP seems to have a powerful impact over national defence and security policies of the EU member states.
