Summary/Abstract: Seid Mustafa Traljić was born in Sarajevo’s settlement Vratnik. He acquired scientific knowledge in three cities: Sarajevo, Zagreb and Zadar. This article deals with Traljić's scientific work in the field of studying education and education of Bosniaks. His research in this field was pioneering and gave a good basis to all subsequent researchers of this issue.
