ON THE OCCASION OF THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF ADIL ZULFIKARPAŠIĆ’S DEATH, I WILL EMPHASIZE CERTAIN FEATURES OF HIS OPINION AND ACTIONS

Summary/Abstract: Adil Zulfikarpašić was the most important personality of Bosniak anti-communist emigration. With his liberal attitudes and engagement in the Liberal International and the Democratic Union, a democratic Yugoslav emigration association, he made a significant contribution to the deliberations of the democratic reorganization of the Yugoslav state socialist community. By advocating the Bosniak nomination for Bosnian Muslims, he preserved Bosniak national consciousness and was its most ardent advocate in the nineties of the last century.
