Summary/Abstract: The piece deals with the up-to-date reception, a review of the first presentations and displays of Kosta Hörmann's first collection of the National Folk Song of the Mohammedans in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the latter, but important reviews and studies that have furder affirmed the Bosniak oral epics. Therefore, the piece will contain reviews of the pieces written by Vatroslav Jagić, Luka Marjanović (detailed displays ˗ in both cases), then Tihomir Ostojić, Jan M. Černý and Bronislaw Grabowski, with an unsigned review published in the Agramer Zeitung (reviews,) as well as very important studies on this collection, actually on Bosniak oral epics in general written by Đenana Buturović.
