Summary/Abstract: NATO and EU expansion to the East is both a consolidation of the Euro-Atlantic dimension of the European and Eurasian security and a way to reconfigure some geostrategic confluence and partnership areas. One of them is the Wider Black Sea Area, which becomes more and more both one of the main beneficiary and responsible for the Eurasian effects of the European and Euro-Atlantic expansion.
