Summary/Abstract: The old and new security threats creates a new reality. Threats are in fact an instrument stimulating the improvement of the Organization of the special protection of the State. The main function of this organization is to obtaining information about the risks that confront the specific values of the state and responding to them. Protection in this area is realized by special services. Such conditions and strive for the efficient performance of the tasks by special services is associated with the need to exercise supervision over them. The supervision may be considered to be an important factor in maintaining the rationality and effectiveness of the functioning of the special services.
