Summary/Abstract: This research shows the long-lived family businesses in Mexico, structured according to its founding year in a ranking of 25 companies, according to statistics in Mexico 100% of companies 90% enterprises are family businesses, which generate sources work, contribute to GDP and economic development of the country. The objective of this research is to present the long-lived running family businesses in Mexico, show success stories, analysis of the factors that have led companies to move from generation to generation. The results show a list with a ranking of the 25 long-lived running family businesses in Mexico, the first place is occupied by the José Cuervo Group which was founded in 1795 represented by Backmann family, the place 25 is for the company Marti Group Alfredo Harp family which was born in 1935. In this way the family enterprises are known in Mexico. The methodology used in this research was documentation and analysis. 2009 INEGI data were analyzed, the executive world and article 2015. Banamex Mexico magazines consists 90% of family businesses, to perform the analysis of sources cited comprising the year 2009 to 2015, a total of 250 family businesses came to a ranking of 25 lived companies that are the backbone of Mexico.
