Employee Mobility in Light of Cloud Computing Model

Summary/Abstract: The emergence of a new model of using computing power of both computers and applications, termed cloud computing, has set new standards of remote working. Several years ago development of an IT environment necessary for sharing data of the enterprise and securing them from an unauthorized access required many expenses to be incurred by business entities. Nowadays using cloud computing technologies causes that the environment for remote work is accessible also for micro enterprises. The study presents theoretical aspects of using cloud computing in remote utilization of organizational resources and presents part of studies in the SME sector concerning the use of this model of sharing IT resources.
