Summary/Abstract: This paper’s purpose is to analyze the operation, components and specifications of SCADA based system for control and data collection of renewable energy system installations. The primary functions of those systems, technical, software and electronic solutions are examined and presented. The management, monitoring and control capabilities for renewable energy installations are illustrated in detail.
