Summary/Abstract: An important argument for the need to conduct research in the field of production flow planning and control in modern manufacturing enterprises is necessary to provide a credible response concerning the possibility of accepting the order and its timely implementation, while ensuring a high degree of utilization of system resources. A used planning method is the most significant, because on the basis of this method a decision to accept or reject the order is made. The lack of the reliable tool for order planning can mean serious consequence for the company, e.g. overestimation of the possibility of the production system may cause a penalty for delay, on the other hand the rejection of the offer means lost benefits for the company. Hence, the paper proposes the use of simulation package FlexSim in the verification process for scheduled production orders and to determine the minimum number of operators to ensure their timely implementation.
