Summary/Abstract: In this article the authors have presented the concept of producing world class (World Class Manufacturing - WCM). The aim of this paper is to characterize some of the tools to rationalize the work of the maintenance services in manufacturing enterprises by the WCM methodology. The defined objective was realized through the analysis of literature, case studies and research desk.
