Summary/Abstract: The present paper presents the original author’s point of view on the new characteristics of the international security environment after the end of the unipolar world and some trends and challenges for the new security architectures. The article addresses the new characteristics and specific traits of the new model of the multipolar world, as well as its advantages and disadvantages with regard to its influence on national security systems.
