Summary/Abstract: Markets expand and now have become global markets. This happened by the action of a number of factors. One such factor is technology. Currently, these communication technologies play a key role in the process of digitizing markets. Individual countries or their associations form joint digital markets. This article aims to identify barriers to the development of a digital single market and the possible actions that will lead to their build. The article describes selected barriers to the digital market in the European Union. Also it reviewed the actions necessary to build this market.
