Summary/Abstract: The natural language processing is one of the main areas ofmodern artificial intelligence. Voice recognition isan element of natural language processingand aims at transforming spoken words into written text byvarious techniques. Researchersin area ofvoice recognition face many challenges that havedifferent sources.In this study thehistorical development of voice recognition is presented, the voice recognition types are and the basic techniques used in the fieldare outlined.
