Summary/Abstract: The destructive effects of climate change for the Republic of Moldova can resultin a serious further decline in agricultural productivity and loss of soil fertility. Traditionalagricultural methods cannot meet the current needs of the population under the conditions of theclimate change impacts. Conservative soil techniques preserve a maximum amount of organicresidues at its surface and create the optimal environment for the growth and development ofagricultural crops. Conservative agriculture stops soil degradation, increases fertility and providesan efficient use of natural resources, increases productivity and helps ensure food security.
