Summary/Abstract: At work, the problem of analyzing factors influencing demand is being considered. The actual data on two types of clothing industry products characterized by two features are considered. The basis for building a discriminant model is to find the optimal partition of the set characterized by the contingency tables. Due to the exponential computational complexity, a randomized method of searching for an optimal solution was proposed. Optimization criteria are chi square statistics and p-value.
